THAR 115

This class in an introduction to  the working actors voice, and more importantly, Your Voice as a human being, because let’s face it, we are human beings first and actors second. We, as human beings,  all have the right to be heard and understood in a healthful and expressive way 24/7 rather than just those elite 2 hours we may or may not get to spend on stage.

We will listen to your  Voice and your classmates Voices in a functional way. We will do some beginning physiology of the Voice, don’t panic, this part is easy, and then apply that physiology to practical exercises to extend pitch, range and color of the Voice and then take those exercises onto some glorious text.
