Short-term

Over the next academic year, I plan to:

1. Adopt and implement a new textbook in Business Computing
2. Transition to Windows 8 and Office 2013
3. Transition the online version of Business Computing to Blackboard Learn
4. Create new solutions to allow MacBook users to run Office 2013 for Windows

I will achieve these goals by:

1. Consulting with full- and part-time faculty to choose a new textbook
2. Rewrite assignments and exams to align with the new versions of Windows and Office
3. Rebuild learning modules and other course materials in Blackboard Learn
4. Work with our IT people to create new processes and a new virtual machine based on Windows 7, DreamSpark, and VMware Fusion

Long-term

Over the next three years, I plan to:

1. Make use of emerging technologies in education
2. Encourage and challenge my colleagues to pursue and embrace online tools and resources
