About Me

  • B.Sc. Honours in Mathematics and M.Sc. degrees in Applied Mathematics from the university of Dhaka, Bangladesh in 1971 and 1974, respectively.
  • M.Sc. degree in Statistics from the university of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Canada, 1981
  • Ph.D. in Statistics from the university of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, 1985
  • I have been at Grant MacEwan University since 1998. I have taught a wide range of statistics courses from the elementary course to the mathematical statistics course. My main areas of interest nowadays are in applied probability, statistics education and applied statistics.
