Website beginnings and Future Play

Welcome to my blog. For all the web work I’ve done I’ve never blogged but will give it a go. I’m learning about this system for web pages for MacEwan faculty  now and will try to add things as I go along. Later today I am off to Future Play in Vancouver where I will be presenting a poster with a honors student, Matt Rosie, about classifying video games in terms of their cognitive qualities. We are excited both because we’ll hear about lots of research on gaming and because the game developers conference is also being held at the same time and we get to brouse through the exhibits.
